The below list is a list of toxic plants to your pet. This is by far not a complete list; however, it is a list of reportedly the most common. Take a look and familiarize yourself with these so you keep your pet safeguarded from them.
- Autumn Crocus
- Lily of the Valley
- Sago Palm
Most of these plants can cause severe vomiting and internal problems with just little ingestion of the plant (whether it is the leaves or bulbs). Some can even cause liver failure and sometimes death. Keep any indoor plants on the list out of reach of your dog or cat. If you are going to plant any of these outdoors, keep in mind where your pets go when they go outside and plant accordingly.
