Laser Therapy is a safe, drug-free treatment alternative. It is non-invasive and less stressful for a pet than other treatments. It reduces pain and discomfort, speeds healing, increases mobility and motion in joints, reduces swelling.
If a pet is in pain, has inflammation, or has a wound, laser therapy can be beneficial. This includes patients who have the aches and pains of old age, who have just had a surgical procedure, or who have an open wound of recent injury.
Laser Therapy is used for:
- Hip Dysplasia
- Speed healing
- Inflammation after surgeries including spays, neuters, declaws, tumor removals
- Dental procedures
- Ear infections
- Skin infections
- Sprains and Strains
- Bruising and swelling
How it works:
- Photons of laser light penetrate deep into tissue.
- These photons are absorbed into the cells which initiates a photo-chemical response.
- This response in the cells block nerve impulses, accelerates tissue repair, increases circulation and reduces swelling.
As stated above, this form of therapy is a very safe, non-invasive and drug-free treatment. If you are interested in this type of approach, bring your pet into the clinic. We will give your pet an exam and go over any questions you may have.
Laser therapy has been successful on many different health issues and ailments. Just bring your pet in for their exam and we can let you know if they are a candidate for laser therapy!
